HOLIDAY HAUL

Slight cactus overload. Slight. I've just got back from my holiday to Majorca and France and thought I'd so a haul post of all the stuff I got whilst there/ at the airport. Firstly, I found this little shop called 'Gem 'n' Co' in a village in France, and they sold loads of different types of gem stones and quartz and rocks and jewelry and it was pretty cool. I got two chunks of quartz and three gem stones to put around my room.
At a market in Majorca there was a stall selling really cheap necklaces and I purchased this hamsa hand necklace. I visited a different market in Majorca as well, and found these mirrored aviators that I rather liked, the only negative of them being that when wearing them, the whole family use them as mirrors and it can get very irritating. At the airport in paperchase I saw this gorgeouss cactus notebook and I love it. You can never have enough notebooks in life. Also at the airport in duty free, my lovely mother treated me to MAC's All That Glitters eyeshadow. In the pan it looks boring and slightly brown (I think that's just due to bad lighting), but on the eye its so nice and rose gold champagne coloured and I wore it almost every night on holiday.

SUPERSONIC

TOPSHOP DRESS
ASOS SHOES
SUNGLASSES FROM A MARKET IN MAJORCA
I'm quite looking forward to autumn and jumpers and coats and the jake bugg concert. I've just returned from my holiday in Majorca and France and it hasn't stopped raining since I stepped off the plane. Ah home sweet home. These outfit photos were taken in Majorca in our apartment garden where it was nice and hot and warm enough to wear a dress. I've had this simple black dress for ages and I still love it, despite its very basic style. This is basically the most simple look ever, no accessories or a jacket or anything, just the dress. To my despair, my favourite chunky black sandals broke whilst on holiday so I opted for my holographic sandals instead. I think I'm going to be doing another holiday related post so expect that soon.

LIFE UPDATES

Since my camera is broke and the weather is awful I cant really stand in my garden and take pictures for outfit posts (although I do have a lot of new stuff that I want to upload). I kind of want to convert my blog into a mixture of outfit posts and writings on whatever I'm thinking about, so kind of following suit of Rookie but obviously in my own style etc.

Anyway, this post is just a quick one on general things happening in my life at the moment.
Two weeks ago I went on holiday to the South of France and it was really fun and warm but I'm not very tanned unfortunately. We have a lot of friends there and it's kind of like a second home because we've being going since I was 4, and a kind of 'summer community' has developed over time and I enjoy their company very much. I got to use my new Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 quite a bit whilst there too, and finally wear all my new summer clothes/shoes purchases as well.

For my friend Shan's birthday (peculiarthoughtss.blogspot.co.uk) next month, we're going to Harry Potter Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London and I can't waittttt. I'm a massive fan of all the films and the books I've read so far (I'm only on Goblet of Fire so I can't call myself a true die hard fan until I've finished them all lols). I need to save my money because theres so many things I want to buy there (i.e wands, butterbeer, chocolate frogs, robes, scarfs etc). Has anyone been to Harry Potter World before? Was it good??

Also, I've booked Jake Bugg tickets and I am beyond excited because he's so good and I've never seen him live before and we're standing and it'll be crazyyyy. It's in October so we'll have to wait a bit though and the tickets were £27 and I can not wait. I'm going with my best friend Shan who I have previously mentioned, her brother and his friend.

SEA SALT AND SURF BOARDS

I haven't posted in a while, and this is basically the reason why. Since last Saturday I've been on a little holiday to Croyde in North Devon with my family&cousins. The town we stayed in was really picturesque and full of small ice cream&surfing shops, and it only rained once so that was good. Me and my cousins are all around the same age so we get on well&they're practically like my best friends. We went to the beach everyday&I admittedly fell in the sea a few times, and didn't manage to catch any crabs despite my best efforts. Now that I'm home I have loads of revision and homework to catch up with before school starts again. Sorry that this isn't an outfit post by the way, (I mainly stayed in my wellies and jumpers for the whole trip anyway), I'll try to get back on track soon.
