I'm quite looking forward to autumn and jumpers and coats and the jake bugg concert. I've just returned from my holiday in Majorca and France and it hasn't stopped raining since I stepped off the plane. Ah home sweet home. These outfit photos were taken in Majorca in our apartment garden where it was nice and hot and warm enough to wear a dress. I've had this simple black dress for ages and I still love it, despite its very basic style. This is basically the most simple look ever, no accessories or a jacket or anything, just the dress. To my despair, my favourite chunky black sandals broke whilst on holiday so I opted for my holographic sandals instead. I think I'm going to be doing another holiday related post so expect that soon.

Hi, sorry for not posting in ages, my crazy social life really just got out of hand.

Last Sunday (when these photos were taken) I went to Warner Bros Studio Tour, The Making of Harry Potter. It was absolutely incredible, and I'm going to do a post on it later. The day before going, me and my friend went into town and I got this dress in topshop. I think this is the first time I have worn a colour ever on this blog, can somebody give me a medal please? I really like the low waist line and the powdery purple colour is super cool.

These pictures are a bit all over the place, but as you can probably tell, I went to London this weekend. On the first day there I went to Camden Market and had lunch and purchased some stuff for myself and my friends birthday. It was horrendously busy, and full of tourists and obey hats, but I really enjoyed my time there. Me and my mom had lunch by the water and a funny chinese man gave us some free chips. Camden is a great place to photograph because of the vibrancy and colour, loads of signage, typography and little trinkets. But its also awkward as most stall holders don't want you taking pictures of their stuff, and I shouted at a few times.  

Day 2 consisted of Spitalfields Market. In my opinion, there were better stalls and things to buy here, but I preferred the atmosphere of Camden. I discovered this shop that was similar to Cow Vintage, called Rokit, and I got a green Killers t-shirt for £3 which I was pretty happy with. I also bought some knitted badges of a stall in the market that I'm going to decorate my school bag with. 

Overall, I really liked London. I also went to Oxford Street for the first time and it was amazing and we went on the Emirates Skyline thingy too. All the people/waiters in restaurants/shop assistants that I spoke to were really really friendly and nice, compared to people I encounter in Birmingham where I live. I thought it was really interesting seeing all the different nationalities and fashions and people all together, and when some men were playing guitar and violin on the tube it was just cool.

Hi, today I went to see the highly anticipated 22 Jump Street, I've been waiting agesss for it to come out in the cinema. It was absolutely hilarious, probably better than the first film and despite his age I still want to marry Channing Tatum. I went with Shan, and to be honest we both felt slightly overdressed to go and sit in a dark room and watch the film, but nevertheless I like my outfit today. 

My t-shirt is from eBay and is sporting my favourite band, Arctic Monkeys. My shoes are also from ebay and are inspired by my 'Shoe Crush: Truckers' post. For ages I've wanted an American Apparel Tennis Skirt, but they're a bit out of my price range at the moment, so when my Grandma found this in her wardrobe and gave it to me, I could not believe my eyeballs. I think it looks exactly the same and I got it for £0 so I'm very happy.

THEY'RE SO UGLY THAT THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL

I've fallen madly in love with chunky heels at the moment, after seeing them all over tumblr&in Company Magazine, and in all my favourite shops. I particularly love the Asos Fear Chunky Sandals (top&bottom right), and can't wait till my birthday so I can get money to buy them. I know these aren't everybody's cup of tea, but I can't get enough of them and thought I'd share a few of my favourites with you. I think these would look so nice with mom jeans, or shorts or skirts or anything at all, and are such a good piece to have for this 'S/S Transitional Period'. The white or holographic ones would probably go with more things, since the black could look a bit too harsh&bulky with more summery floral looks.

A pretty casual outfit today, but this is basically a combination of all my favourite/staple pieces thrown together. I literally live in these boots (as you can probably tell from the dirt), but now that summers getting closer I'm on the hunt for an alternative. I hadn't worn my disco pants in a while either so it made a nice change to have them on, plus I think they go pretty well with my new denim jacket. 

The bag is my first attempt at any sort of clothing DIY, and it's a bit too small for my liking, but I love the graphics on it (Alexa Chung, Arctic Monkeys etc) &think it looks quite unique.

The thought of it being spring and not being able to wear black everyday scares me. 

I recently purchased these black dungarees from H&M, which I am in love with. Because I have so many white graphic t-shirts its going to be so easy to wear them. They're super comfy&make a good alternative for wearing jeans or disco pants all the time. I'm going through a  bit of a phase where I cant decide if I want to dress all '90's Grunge' or stick to my usual monochrome&denim look. I think I'll probably end up combining to two somehow, which should be interesting.

 As you can probably tell, I like to wear black. Today I ventured out to Primark, in search of socks. I ended up buying this top&sunglasses. I've been looking for a simple, striped t-shirt for ages and now I have finally got one. This outfit is pretty basic&simple, but I like the monochrome look that the stripes give it. As for my glasses, well, they will come in very handy with all the lovely British sunshine that we get right? Although I do love my boots, I think they could definitely do with a good clean..

I have only just realized that there's a ladder in my tights. Oops. 

Today I went out for lunch with my Mom, so thought I'd wear this pinafore dress. It's one of my most worn clothing items, but because it's fairly short, I had to battle against the wind all day to keep it from blowing up. Underneath it I have my white t-shirt with two mirrored birds on it (which you can't see anyway). I like to wear anything simple&white under the dress since it already has a strong print. These are actually my school shoes, but I think wearing them with dresses and skirts adds more of a girly/dainty feel to the outfit.
